What is HUMAC INSIGHT?

HUMAC INSIGHT is the next-generation software for the HUMAC NORM isokinetic dynamometer. It replaces the HUMAC 2015 software with faster navigation, a more graphical interface, updated reports, and expanded data access — all on the HUMAC NORM you already own.

Is HUMAC INSIGHT a new machine or new software?

Software only. It runs on your existing HUMAC NORM.

Will HUMAC INSIGHT work with my existing HUMAC NORM?

Yes. HUMAC INSIGHT works with every HUMAC NORM system (and legacy CYBEX NORM systems). Your computer needs to be running Windows 10 (32-bit) or newer.

What are the computer requirements?

HUMAC INSIGHT runs on any computer that can run Windows 10. If you’re buying a new computer, we recommend at minimum:

Operating System: Windows 11 Pro, 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i5/i7, Intel Core Ultra 5/7, or AMD Ryzen 5, 2.0 GHz or faster
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Storage: 512 GB SSD
Display: 21″ (touchscreen recommended)
USB: One built-in USB-A port for the HUMAC interface
Printer: Color

Is it touchscreen compatible?

Yes — HUMAC INSIGHT is designed for touchscreen use.

Do I qualify for a free upgrade?

United States: Free if your HUMAC NORM or HUMAC Update was invoiced on or after June 1, 2025.

International: Free if invoiced by distributor on or after May 1, 2025.

Outside those windows, HUMAC INSIGHT is available for purchase — from CSMi in the U.S., or through your local distributor internationally. Not sure of your invoice date? Contact us and we’ll confirm your eligibility.

How is the HUMAC INSIGHT Delivered?

You’ll receive an email with a download link. Install directly on your computer (requires internet), or copy the installer to a USB drive and install from there.

Can I install HUMAC INSIGHT myself?

Yes. HUMAC INSIGHT is designed for self-installation and includes step-by-step instructions. If you’d prefer help, remote or on-site installation is available for purchase.

Will my data transfer to HUMAC INSIGHT?

Yes. HUMAC INSIGHT imports patient data, test protocols, and exercise protocols from every previous version of HUMAC software.

How long will installation take?

Installing the HUMAC INSIGHT Software is quick, less than 10 minutes. Updating existing HUMAC data to HUMAC INSIGHT data depends on the amount of data and the computer. We recommend 3 hrs. You do not need to be present during this process.
